Jass was created to take the benefits of the Tunisian manufacturing base. The strengths of this base are:

• The infrastructure of Tunisia is such that the majority of the manufacturing units are closely situated allowing efficient communications and movement of materials.
• The manufacturers of Tunisia understand their role in the international manufacturing setup. They appreciate that the mid to better end of the quality spectrum where their strength lie and they continue to develop their technology and Associates to maintain this market position.
• The Tunisian government has made every effort to ease the export market for its manufacturers. Fabric can be imported and re-exported as garments from all of the European fabric suppliers and recently a new agreement has made it possible to import Turkish fabrics on the same basis.
• There are no duties applied by the EEC for garments purchased in this form.
• The majority of Europe’s to brands have garments produced in Tunisia.
